Nutritionist + Stress Management Coach

I'm Danielle,  a certified nutritional practitioner and lifestyle coach, but before I was either of those things I was a big ball of fiery stress, just rolling around glorifying "being busy". 

My lifestyle eventually caught up to me when I discovered I had stage 3 adrenal fatigue and along with it came a whole whack of really uncomfortable and annoying hormonal issues. 

For me the road to recovery was long and frustrating... but only at first. I now know this was because my approach to healing was not a holistic one. My frustration led me to school and into a spiral of research.  Once I re-structured my recovery protocol, results came quickly! It truly is amazing what your body can overcome when you give it the right tools. 

Simply Nourished is my mission to encourage stress-free living in and out of the kitchen.  It really is a lifestyle, but it's also about bringing awareness to what adrenal fatigue really is.  Through that awareness, I can then show you the steps necessary to reduce stress on our bodies from a nutritional, environmental, physical and emotional level. 

Simply Nourished is about taking a load off your shoulders, one chip at a time, so that you can walk a little lighter. It's about getting to the root of issues and nourishing them from the ground up (and in the most simple and delicious ways possible).

It's about eating delicious things, thinking delicious thoughts and living the most delicious, Simply Nourished life.

Danielle is a Certified Nutritional Practitioner and an honours graduate from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. She is also a Registered Orthomolecular Health Practitioner and Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner. Danielle is a Stress Management Coach with experience in clinical nutrition and supplementation.  She has a degree in Communication Studies from Wilfrid Laurier and has completed Healthy Culinary Arts cooking classes at George Brown.
